Being active starts with movement. Make exercise fun by doing what you love. Take up a fun hobby such as surfing or swimming and exercise will be a bonus!
How you get in shape is personal. Some people love the great outdoors and love to go hiking and bike riding outside. Some people love to surf and be out in the ocean. Others love to go to the gym and take a spinning, yoga, or aerobics class, while others like to work out on their own. Enjoy exercising and think of fun new ways to get in shape. If you love watching movies and T.V. all day, then don't be a couch potato, do your exercises in your living room. You could stretch, do weights, abs, and much more. Exercise can be tough, but that just means your are doing it right. Once you finish exercising you will feel exhilarated and more positive. Exercise increases endorphins and endorphins make you happy! No one regrets exercising when they are done. You will regret not exercising if you keep putting it off. Living a healthy active life includes exercising and staying in shape. Find what you love and incorporate that into your daily exercise routine. You won't regret feeling good :)
