Stand Up Paddle Board Yoga

Make the most of your Summer with SUP Yoga!

SUP Yoga will help you focus on your breath.  Ujjayi Pranayama, or Ocean Breath, is a popular yoga method for breathing because the "ocean" sound is believed to soothe your mind. And some researchers believe that listening to the sound of the ocean can help people to relax. The gentle sound of water lapping while on a paddle board will help you relax and key you in to the most important aspect of yoga: your breath.

Re-examine your situation, and remind yourself it’s summertime—and time for you to slow down and relax. The physical, mental and health benefits of incorporating SUP Yoga into your lifestyle are insurmountable. As you move and flow on your board, in the ocean, you will experience pure bliss fill your entire being.

Getting in Shape your way

by Danielle Lauren

How you get in shape is personal.  Some people love the great outdoors and love to go hiking and bike riding outside.  Some people love to surf and be out in the ocean.  Others love to go to the gym and take a spinning, yoga, or aerobics class, while others like to work out on their own.  Enjoy exercising and think of fun new ways to get in shape.  If you love watching movies and T.V. all day, then don't be a couch potato, do your exercises in your living room.  You could stretch, do weights, abs, and much more.  Exercise can be tough, but that just means your are doing it right.  Once you finish exercising you will feel exhilarated and more positive.  Exercise increases endorphins and endorphins make you happy!  No one regrets exercising when they are done.  You will regret not exercising if you keep putting it off.  Living a healthy active life includes exercising and staying in shape.  Find what you love and incorporate that into your daily exercise routine.  You won't regret feeling good :)
